It is a fact but at the same time pathetic. A patient who is suffering from cancer, doctor has detected and assured the patient and her family not to worry! It is in early stage and can be cured.
There is another patient who is suffering from depression screaming for help! No one seems to care! Silence is in the air. Family and friends are pushing away by making the statement, you are a burden for the society. Why don't you go to hell? Try to find some peace there. Leave us alone!
It is a sin to have expectations hopes and dreams. Loved ones becomes strangers. All glance at her with anger and hatred.
Depressed patient breaks down on verge of tears with deep emotional pain. Staring all night at the ceiling, repeating to herself 'I want to die' withdraws herself completely; becomes so lonely and her heart gets crushed. Loved ones, family and friends are in denial.
Depressed patient wonders what did I do wrong? Why people I know are so unfamiliar to me? She is all alone in her world. One day cure is out of the question! Too late! The dark clouds have covered the whole sky. On the other hand cancer patient got released with lots of visitors and red roses. Smiling at her face continuing her journey with full of spirit.
In this beautiful world why did she have to lose all her rights to live?
Are we human or what? When will we wake up? We feel proud that we have education and money. But one human being is destroying another human being's life with power of knowledge. We are loosing many intelligent beings suffering from mental illness who could contribute to this society those who consider themselves 'normal' but have nothing to provide to the society.
